Invisalign^® uses a series of clear, comfortable, and removable aligners to straighten your teeth for adults. Now, Invisalign^® is also available for teenagers, Invisalign Teen^®, where it allows for continuation of normal process of teeth eruption. During your treatment you can eat and drink what you want because not only are the aligners invisible but also removable to make eating less difficult. Plus, brushing and flossing are less of a hassle as well, which makes it a great option for frequent snackers. The aligners have no metal to cause mouth abrasions or sore spot. Hence, they are more comfortable and esthetic. The Invisalign® treatment has many advantages over traditional braces. For one, the Invisalign cost can be comparable to the braces cost in some cases. How Does Invisalign® Work? 

Stage 1: Complimentary consultation with Dr. Mark Rashidi
At your initial complimentary visit, leading orthodontist Dr. Rashidi will perform a complete facial and dental analysis and help you decide on the best course of treatment for you. After completing initial records (X-ray, photos, impressions) and compilation of Dr. Rashidi’s specific and precise instruction to Invisalign®.

Stage 2: Making your aligners base on your needs
Based on your dental needs Dr. Rashidi will provide precise instruction to Invisalign® to construct 3-D computer imaging technology to transform your impressions (A.K.A molds) into series of custom-made clear and removable aligners.

Stage 3: Receive your aligners
At this appointment you will receive you first sets of aligners. Dr. Rashidi will provide you with instruction for maintenance and wear-time of your clear aligners.

Stage 4: Wearing your aligners
Each aligner is worn for a period of time; the time duration is based on the fact if you are placed on the accelerated treatment plan vs. standard (Ask us about accelerated treatment option, which utilizes special technology that allows to finish treatment in half the standard time). You only remove your aligner to eat, drink, floss and brush. Then, you will follow with regular visits (6-8 weeks apart) so Dr. Rashidi can check your progress.

Stage 5: Getting the smile you want
After completion of all the aligners your bite will be evaluated by Dr. Rashidi. To keep your beautiful new smile, aesthetic retainers are given for wear during the initial 6 months. Dr. Rashidi may give you other special instructions for wear.
